Hays and her mom Jane, as well as Hays' son Hunter came by to visit this afternoon. Jane hadn't met Kate and Connor before - so it was great to see her take to the babies so well. Also - I have to get the names of the baby boutiques where she buys Hunters' clothes. Note to self: Kate and Connor are in well worn, pilled Carters outfits. Hunter is in a waaay cute smocked short set. Too cute!
Meanwhile, Poppa was playing with Hunter. Finally - he relinquished Hunter to me so I could see what it's like to hold an 18+ pound baby. Wow! We have a lot to look forward to with an energetic boy like Hunter. It's so cute to watch him sit up by himself and he is getting ready to take off crawling any day now. I don't want to wish Kate and Connor to grow up too quickly, but I can't wait for them to get to a more interactive stage.
Then Susan and Cary came by to visit too. They had last seen the twins when they were 4 days old (at Northside) - so they were certainly impressed with Kate and Connor's growth. We were excited to learn that their daughter Bianca just found out that she is pregnant with her second child. I'm sure they are over the moon with happyiness for their growing family.
