Kate and Connor are 6 weeks old today. Hard to believe how fast time is flying. They seem so little - but the scales tell the truth. Connor is now up to 11 pounds and 12 ounces, and Kate is 10 lbs and 9 oz. That 1+ pound difference feels like so much more to us.
It looks like Connor is almost ready to smile, and Kate will sure to follow. The twins now make little squealing noises - sometimes in delights, sometimes in frustration. It's so nice to see and hear their little personalities start to come out.
Night times are still tough - as Kate and Connor don't understand the concept of a schedule. Sometimes Connor goes 5 hours at a time, but other times just 3. Kate goes anywhere from 3 to 4 hours - but certainly no more. Most times, they seem to wake up in between the other one's feeding time - better to keep Mom awake every other hour.
Regardless, night times are some of my favorite times. Holding a baby in the rocking chair when it's nice and quiet is the best. I love talking to them and telling them how great their lives are going to be and how much they are loved and wanted. All is right in the world!
